2.5-Ton Shockwave! Can the 3RD Pallet Endure the Weight? Load Test Video

"Can your pallet really handle that load?"
It is one of the most common questions we hear from customers. Printing a load rating in a catalog is easy. Seeing it proven with your own eyes is another matter entirely.
So we put it to the test. FiX3RD loaded a total of 2.5 tons onto the 3RD Pallet and filmed the entire process.
Why 2.5 Tons?
The standard 3RD Pallet measures 1,100 x 1,100 mm with a 5-leg configuration. Each leg is rated for a static load of 700 kg in single-deck use. That means the design capacity of a 5-leg pallet is up to 3.5 tons. The 2.5 tons in this test works out to roughly 500 kg per leg.
You might think that leaves plenty of margin. But in real logistics operations, loads are never perfectly even. Forklift handling creates uneven loading, and stacking concentrates weight in ways a catalog spec sheet can never show. That is exactly why a real-world test matters.
The Result
No problem at all!
Why Can the 3RD Pallet Handle Heavy Loads?
There are two main reasons.
1. A Unique Detachable Leg Design
The 3RD Pallet separates the deck from the legs. Because the legs carry the load, they can be engineered for high strength without making the entire pallet heavier. And if a leg is ever damaged, you replace just that leg instead of discarding the whole pallet.
2. A Leg Layout That Distributes the Load
The standard 5-leg configuration places legs at the four corners and the center, distributing weight efficiently across the deck. The center leg limits deflection, keeping deck deformation to a minimum even under heavy loads.
Why Thai Logistics Operations Choose the 3RD Pallet
The 3RD Pallet is a next-generation pallet manufactured and sold in Thailand.
The particle board deck is exempt from ISPM15 (fumigation treatment required for wood packaging), so it can be used for export as-is. The detachable legs also mean compact storage and transport when not in use.
